- She had the opportunity to make a name for herself and the first words out of her mouth at the convention was to compare herself with a dog. This was the image presented to the entire world of what could have been the first female VP of the USA. Need I say anymore....

- There is such a thing as good judgment and clearly this man did not use it. A man of integrity and self worth would have decline the offer; however, Mr Burris has put himself in this ridiculous situation and must pay the consequence. BTW, this has nothing to do with race

- We don't ask for help...disability benefits and Social Security Disability is "welfare" with a nicer name. How long has she been on claims...is it more than she puts into the system? We are all standing on our own two feet, but there are times when we need help like applyingand getting SSDI

- What is not being said is that these people have taken numerous pay cuts and reduction in benefits. To be fair, the cost of living is greater than most of our salaries. Please take this in account before making some of these outrageous claims.

- In less than 3 months my 401k dropped $25,000 and continues to bleed. Granted, it was not much in the first place, but this is ridiculous. The company just laid off 500 people, their stocks have dropped to 6.50 per share and so is their ratings.

- Sean and other like minded, I agree with you on the free market concept. Let the big 3 fail. Of course, millions will be out of work especially in this global economy but who cares.

Thank you !!! I, too, am a Christian and a Democrat.
I have been totally appalled at the cruel and vicious campaign of the Republicans. My goodness. I have written a LOT of scriptures that tell me real Christian behaviour is kindness, honesty, looking out for the poor, having no wrath and anger, "grievous words stir up anger", be courteous, honor all men, "god resistetheh the proud, but giveth grace to the humble" "Speak not evil of one another", on and on and on. I have not seen any Godly characteristics come from the mouth, attitude or lives of McCain and Palin these past months.
